So Real, It’s Unreal…

This almost unreal photograph was taken at a beach off of Miramar Drive, near Pillar Point, in Half Moon Bay, CA (surprise, surprise).  You can actually see the Pillar Point harbor area where the surfers would go for the Mavericks surf contest.

This photo is completely raw and unedited. It went straight from my camera’s memory card, to my macbook, to this photo blog, untouched. Despite the mesmerizing colors in this sunset photo, I will admit that it is a little blurrier than I would have hoped, but I still wanted to boast about it being unedited, so here it is 🙂 .

I now realize that the direction of my blog here has changed from the original idea. I do not have very many photos taken from my car, as originally planned, but I think I stayed true to interestingness.  Note to self: edit about page.  I want to keep the original story of how the blog began, but I will note how the photos will most likely not all be taken from my moving vehicle (slightly unsafe trying to hold onto my d-SLR and the wheel, while looking at both the road and the subject).

My flickr photostream has a beaches and sunsets set that has all of my other photos that I have uploaded, that did not make it on here, but are very much worth looking at….like this one:

This gem was taken in San Francisco, CA near Crissy Field in Presidio. Shockingly, this was taken from my iphone 4s (shhh). I try to carry my camera on every adventure  I go on, but sometimes it is just not possible. Please check out my Flickr photo stream!

Enjoy.
