Reflections, Reflections, Reflections…

“Whenn will my reflection showww….”

I know I pretty much used the same title twice (dually noted to be more creative) but I figured it suited here. A reflection of a reflection of a reflection? One will never know… But I have been trying to get the perfect reflection of the beach in my mirrored aviators for a while now, but I got this, which, given that I took it myself, I think came out pretty cool looking.

When brightened, you could barely see the reflection in the canon lens, I wish I could have really gotten the shot with that aspect. But, this will do just fine I think. Self portraits at their best…Obscure, so no one really knows what you look like still.

It was taken in Half Moon Bay, CA (shocking, I know) at Pillar Point as well as the previous photos.  I used to regularly go to the actual Half Moon Bay state beach, but one, they raised their parking prices to a stupid amount (I think it’s at $10 now) and two, they do not allow canine companions on the beach. We have our little buddy, Mauna Loa, now, who loves the beach, so we have to find one that lets her go. Here she is:

See, look how much fun she is having…it would be devastating if she could not run around like a crazy dog. So, we found our spot, but unfortunately the entrance is piled up with more and more large rocks every time we go.

Last, but not least, I wanted to post the reflection photograph I was really trying to go for.  My sister had to help me out with this one though, so unfortunately it is not a self portrait like I had hoped. It is a little up close and personal though…
