Sunny Seattle ?

I know, that sounds like an oxymoron…how can Seattle, at the end of this long winter, be sunny, rain free (kinda) and mildly warm (i mean mildly) ? We caught one day  (more like hours) of sunshine, and it was glorious. No umbrella, I don’t need you. But, no sunblock quite yet either. (ignore the last two cheesy sentences).

Our hotel was on Madison in Downtown Seattle, so we where in fairly close walking distances to some great stuff. Pikes Place was directly down from the hotel, so walking back was a pain, but worth it.

I have been to Seattle once before and I loved it. To me it seems like a mix of San Francisco (born and raised), Berkeley and something else. Pikes Place Market has the first Starbucks ever, the best clam chowder I have ever had, and a whole lot to look it (like people throwing fish).

This last one was taken earlier on the day, before the sunshine, but something about the tree…I liked it.
