I went to seattle from march 1st through the 4th for a journalism conference through my university, with two classmates and the professor (I’m a staff photographer and writer for our newspaper) and we had some free time. On our last day, we decided to visit the space needle.
The daytime photograph was taken at 3pm, if my memory serves me correctly (I had originally programmed the time on my Canon Rebel t2i wrong), and the nighttime around 7pm (” “).
These are both of Seattle Washington; taken from the top of the Space Needle (one of Seattle’s landmarks…click on the link to find out more). They have a rotating restaurant up there, which we were not able to eat at ($$$).
I did not plan this at first, but I happened to get almost the exact same shot hours later (used the hotel in the bottom front to judge that).
I didn’t know how long we were going to be there for and it is sooooo cold in seattle, those of you who have been during the winter time know what I’m talking about. Not to mention, its also suppperrr windy up there since, well, its way high up in the sky (kinda).
Before we left I decided to go out on the deck thing (?) one last time, and it was worth it because of all the amazing night shots I was able to get. I was shivering so it was really hard to hold my camera that still, but I think they came out nicely.
