How Pho-to-Go was born:

I was driving home the other day, in traffic, naturally, so I took the side streets. Boy, am I glad I did and that my camera was conveniently on my passenger seat.  I took some photos, while driving, of the beautiful horizon over the water. This lead to my idea of photos on the go.  I have seen some crazy things while sitting in traffic, and driven by some beautiful sunsets. So, my hope is to have quite a few of these photos to be taken from my car.  But, I am sure that opportunities that I cannot pass up will present themselves, given that I am a hobbyist photographer.

Philosophy:

We have the ability to capture a moment and turn it into something timeless. Wether it be a photograph of a beautiful beach sunset or an image of a father teaching his son to a ride a bike, the gift of photography is profound. If everyone carried a camera around all day, everyday, I can hardly imagine all the things that would be captured.

Me:

The name is Emily. Born and raised in the bay area. I’m a goofball. I love almost every genre of music; it is the fuel to my fire, along with photography and fitness. I’m allergic to soy. Besides the gym, the beach is my second home. I am dedicated to fitness and train often but I hate running. I love Tahoe during the winter.  I cannot see a thing without my contacts. I am Costa Rican, German,Spanish, French and Irish. I wish I could speak and understand every language in the world. I hold my friends and family very close to my heart. This is my blog. Enjoy.
